  • You play it by opening the description under each clip and picking option 1 or option 2.

  • If you would rather plan all your moves up front, Island Evolution runs free in your browser.

Near the end of the first clip, a huge machine sits on a tank base in a green field. It has one red eye, gears on its chest and a keyhole in its belly. The words Choose & Go appear above it, a hammer and a leaf light up in two white panels, and a counter ticks down to 00. Then the clip ends, and nothing on the screen tells you where to click.

The answer is in the description box. We opened every option link in GROW Kingdom EP1 and kept going until no new clips turned up, and this page reports what that map looks like. The section near the end is about Island Evolution, our own GROW-inspired browser puzzle.

What is GROW Kingdom?

A choose-your-path game told in short YouTube clips. Each clip ends on two options, and you continue by opening the matching link in its description. Eyezmaze, the label of GROW creator On Nakayama, released EP1 on July 17, 2024.

The opening clip runs 2 minutes 3 seconds and had 355,858 views when we checked on October 1, 2026. Its description sums up the project in one line: "I forced the creation of a classic Flash game on YouTube!"

Roughly the first minute is a recap headed Previously. It follows a small yellow figure in a crown, a trio of purple creatures and a big red button. After the GROW KINGDOM title card and a GAME START banner, a cursor clicks around the machine, and a hammer and a leaf turn up on its body just before the choice. Thirty-one of the 42 later clips are titled after an object, such as Gear, Ribbon, Bud or Bomb. For the click-to-grow games this came from, see the GROW series guide.

How do you play GROW Kingdom EP1 on YouTube?

Watch a clip to its Choose & Go screen, then expand the description. It lists option 1 and option 2, each a link to the next clip. Pick one and repeat until you reach a clip with no options under it.

  1. Begin at the opening clip, from the Eyezmaze archive page or the EYEZMAZE channel.
  2. Note which panel sits on top at the Choose & Go screen. On the first one, the hammer is above the leaf.
  3. Expand the description under the player and pick a link.
  4. Use the Restart link, present on all 42 later clips, to go back to the beginning.

The countdown is part of the animation. The real choice happens in the description, so you can pause or rewatch the panels as long as you like. A commenter on the Bonte Games review used the seek bar to skip ahead through the last batch of choices, which is the quickest way to replay a route you already know.

No countdown on our turns Island Evolution waits for you. Read what every item needs, decide, and place it when you are sure.

How big is the GROW Kingdom branch map?

The map is smaller than it feels. We found 43 distinct clips reachable from the opener, totalling about 36 minutes. Most run 38 to 61 seconds. The deepest route we traced is 13 choices long, and the clips keep folding back onto each other.

Kind of clipHow manyWhat it leads to
Opening clip1The first pair of options
Named after an object31Two more options
Titled RETRY8Seven send you back to an earlier pair; one has no options
Titled GIVE UP3No options, a link to another Eyezmaze work

If every choice opened two fresh clips, a 13-step route would need more than 16,000 of them. Eyezmaze managed with 43 by reusing videos. The descriptions hold 78 option links between them but only 25 distinct pairs. One pair is offered from six different clips and another from five, so routes that split early often meet again at the same decision. Gear, Ribbon, Bomb and The Mouth of Buffon each exist as four separate uploads.

What do RETRY and GIVE UP mean in GROW Kingdom?

They are the game's verdicts. A RETRY clip shows a choice going wrong and puts an earlier decision in front of you again. A GIVE UP clip ends the run with no options, only a pointer to a different Eyezmaze work.

Seven of the eight RETRY clips loop back to a pair you have already seen, so a bad pick costs you one clip and the run carries on. The eighth runs 1 minute 47 seconds, the longest of the 42 branch clips, and lists no options at all. Finding out why is part of the game.

Two of the GIVE UP clips point to Chronon, a game page on the Eyezmaze archive, and the third to an Eyezmaze video called GROW iceberg. Each keeps the Restart link. We are not listing which picks lead where, since finding the endings is what a multiple-ending game is for.

The 2021 clip covered in our GROW Race page had viewers vote on Twitter and then sit back. GROW Kingdom gives each viewer their own run.

Is there a GROW Kingdom EP2?

Not that we could find. A search of the EYEZMAZE channel on October 1, 2026 returned EP1 and no later episode. All 43 clips link to a playlist called Episode Zero [GROW KINGDOM], last updated July 12, 2024.

The EP1 label suggests more were planned. After release Eyezmaze thanked players on Facebook and said no bugs had been reported so far. The GROW games themselves had stopped with GROW Thanks in 2018, and what became of the Flash-era titles is covered in what survived Flash.

Is GROW Kingdom the same as the mobile Grow Kingdom game?

No. The Android Grow Kingdom is a strategic defense game from the publisher mobirix. It shares the name and nothing else with the Eyezmaze title, which has no app or download.

The same search also surfaces Grow A Kingdom on Roblox, whose page marks it as an alpha that is no longer in active development. If you landed here looking for either of those, their store pages are the right place. Everything above is about the Eyezmaze video game.

What should you play after GROW Kingdom?

If you enjoyed guessing what each object would do, try an order puzzle. Island Evolution hands you 8 items at once and asks for the order to place them. Nothing is hidden behind a link, so you can plan a whole run before the first move.

GROW Kingdom shows you two objects at a time and keeps the rest of the map out of sight. You find out what a choice did after 38 seconds or more of video. Our island puts all eight items in the bar at the bottom from the start, and the rules behind each one are printed in the evolution chart. The puzzle moves from guessing to working it out.

Results arrive fast, too. Each placement plays out on the spot, and during animations the cursor turns into a fast-forward button. When you want a push without a spoiler, the hints section has one. For a way to reason through the order step by step, read how to solve order puzzles, and for the series' best-known order puzzle, see GROW Cube.

40,320 orders, 3 perfect That is every way to line up the island's eight pieces, and how few of them reach the top score of 27.

Frequently asked questions

Is GROW Kingdom free to play?

Yes. Every clip is a public YouTube video on the EYEZMAZE channel, and the description under each one carries the option links. A browser or the YouTube app is all you need.

Does the Choose & Go countdown pick for you?

No. The counter is drawn into the video and reaches 00 with both panels still on screen. You pick by clicking a link in the description, so pausing costs you nothing.

Why do some GROW Kingdom clips appear several times?

Different routes can reach the same moment, and Eyezmaze uploaded a separate clip for each one. Gear, Ribbon, Bomb and The Mouth of Buffon each have four versions.

How long does one run of GROW Kingdom take?

About six to eight minutes for five or six choices. The opening clip is just over two minutes and most later clips run 38 to 61 seconds.

When was Episode Zero made?

The Episode Zero [GROW KINGDOM] playlist on the EYEZMAZE channel was last updated on July 12, 2024, five days before EP1 came out. We did not review its contents for this page.
